Antique chamber pot manufactured by the Burslem pottery works in Staffordshire, England during the tenure of Richard Alcock who ran the works from 1870 to 1881. The piece stands 7.5" tall from the base to the top of the handle of the lid (with the lid on) and the lid itself is just under 9" across. The first photo shows the chamber pot with its lid on. The second photo shows the maker's mark on the bottom, which reads "Richard Alcock - Burslem - Staffordshire". The third and fourth photos show the inside and outside of the lid, which has a couple of chips. The fifth photo shows the inside of the piece from above.
