Carved Wood Angel - Italian Baroque - 18th Century

This beautiful carved wood angel was created in Italy during the 18th Century (1700's) according to our best information. The piece is about 14" across at the widest point and about 12.5" high. There is a small hole, about 1/2" across, near the top rear of the head (as can be seen in the third photo) which was apparently for mounting or some other purpose.
